Functional foods are an expanding nutraceutical market division, aimed at improving the nutritional benefits of everyday foods. Research at Phosphagenics has shown that TPM is able to be incorporated into existing foods with minimal changes to the overall product. Such examples include breads, juices, energy drinks, etc. This is a unique application of the delivery technology, and leverages off strong pre-clinical research into the health giving benefits of TPM.
